- Lines: 13
-
- Well, I sent my Powerbook 100 in for warantee repair ... bad hard drive.
- The people at 1 800 SOS APPL said it'd take a day. So far it's been 2 weeks.
-
- The usual frustrations:
- - Apple Texas repair site promises but doesn't returns calls.
- - The repair depot is in Rochester, NY but the phone operators are in Texas.
- (they don't have a computer linking the two sites)
- - Apple's holiday vacation message on their 800 number tells you that
- they're open when the place is closed for vacation.
