  10. I have an SE30 with a Quantum 40 meg drive.  It is about 2.5
  11. years old.  Recently, the drive has been exhibiting stiction
  12. problems.  A couple of times I had to cycle power before the
  13. drive would spin up and just a week ago I had to remove the
  14. drive and shake it about its rotational axis to get it to
  15. spin up.

  17. So, my question is, has anyone had a drive with stiction
  18. repaired and was it worth it, or is it more cost effective
  19. to simply buy a new drive?
