  17. According to a letter I received recently from Newton Developer Relations, it
  18. says "... will be released in early 1993". Exactly what this means, no one
  19. knows. Personally I think Apple will try to release it together with the
  20. new Macs in february.

  22. Another section says "Initial Newton products from Apple will be available in
  23. early 1993 at prices starting well under $1,000". Rumors say that the street
  24. price will be $600-700 for the smallest model.
