- The quick answer is "it depends..."

- There are two hardware versions of the 8*24GC card and two ROM versions.

- The original Rev A hardware with the original Rev A ROM will not support
- 16" monitors as it does not recognize the 16" sense codes.

- If you put the Rev B ROM into a Rev A card, it will understand the sense
- codes and support 16" monitors at 832 x 624 in up to 8 bits of color.

- The Rev B hardware with the Rev B ROM can support the 16" monitor at
- 832 x 624 in up to 16 bits of color. The Rev A hardware does not have
- the proper D to A hardware for 16 bits of color.

- If you set the sense lines to indicate at 21" monitor, any 8*24GC card will
- support it at up to 8 bits per color.
