- One thing to keep in mind is that all video options require
- a driver. Some cards install the driver via init, and some
- by firmware (ie, ROM). Neither option protects the user from
- the possibility of incompatibility with future system software
- or peripherals.

- In the case of an init, at least the user has the possibility
- of a cheap upgrade if and when the driver "breaks". If the fix
- requires a new ROM, you may wait anywhere from months to forever.
