  15. The easiest way is to plug in an external SuperDrive (before you startup, of
  16. course) and see whether it behaves like a SuperDrive. That is, when you stick
  17. in a HD 
  18. disk, it asks if you want to initialize or cancel, rather than format the disk
  19. one sided or two side.
