- In my previous post, I mentioned that I bought a used Mac SE. On the
- front of the case below the disk drives it say Superdrive, which led me
- to beleive that it had FDHD disk drives. Anyway, when I stick in a HD
- disk, it asks me if I want to format the disk one sided or two sided,
- so I assume that the superdrives have been taken out.
-
- My question is how can I tell if my SE has the proper ROMs and the
- neccessary SWIM chip to use a superdrive? How can I tell if the drives
- I have are superdrives, and are not working properly? How expensive is
- it to buy a superdrive?
-
- Thanks
