- Don't know who is telling you there are hardware problems with the drive. I
- received my IIvx with CDROM last week and have not found any problems yet.
- The drive works fine as far as I can tell and I have spent a lot of time
- useing it already. Apple is having problem with the large demand for the vx
- and the Performa 600. The demand is so high they just cannot produce them
- fast enough. I ordered through the developer program on 11/20. Was told
- deivery was 10 weeks. Received the unit on 12/17. The are trickling out now.
- Apple says they expect to be cauget up by late January or early February.

- The only problem I have heard of is something to do with the MIDI interface
- when receiving or sending large files. Even that problem may not really be
- the vx and the jury is still out. I have already excercised the MIDI ports
- with the limited software I have and see nothing wrong.
