- Never noticed this. If you're dead-set on creating maps with the Terrain
- Editor, then you might pull a utility called SimCity Bank down from Sumex (or
- Michigan). It allows you to change your funds to almost any amount you could
- want. Caveat: it's no fun building a megalopolis in ten years, so don't go
- giving yourself a billion bucks.
-
- Alternatively, you could create the map in SimCity, then edit it with the
- Terrain Editor. Just don't select 'clear unnatural objects' once you've built
- your city up... :/

-
- It's my understanding that rails provide transportation in exactly the same
- way as roads do - only more expensive, no traffic problems, and no pollution.
- They'll serve any and every zone which they run adjacent to.

-
- Run - don't walk - to your favorite bookstore and grab a copy of 'The SimCity
- Planning Commission Handbook' (ISBN 0-07-881660-2). It provides a beautiful
- beginner-level introdution to urban planning - about all that's required for
- SimCity. I never realized what stupid mistakes I was making until I read this
- book. Example: Multiple seaports are a waste of money. I figured, two seaports,
- greater potential for export, better for local manufacture - WRONG! The program
- only checks to see if a seaport exists. Multiples are a waste.

- Happy Planning!
