  24. I am in the process of designing a System 7 dependent voice mail 
  25. program.  It uses the mac's microphone to record the messages then
  26. sends the message across the net.  It will also send text across the
  27. net for computers that don't have a microphone.

  29. The program is still in the alpha phase.  I hope to have a beta version 
  30. by the end to winter break.

  32. I made this program with game playing in mind.  It uses Apple Events to
  33. send the messages across the net.  What is great about this is that 
  34. games (or any other kind of program) can send a Apple Event to my 
  35. program telling it who to send the messages to and my program will record
  36. the message and send it.

  38. The program's name is called Intercom.  If you like I can send you (or
  39. any one else that wants) a copy when I have the beta version done.
  40. Intercom will probably be released in March to ftp sites.
