- It's NOT hard to write good graphics for the Mac, it just
- requires a lot of skill.... :-) What I want to say with this
- is that more often than not, people inquiring about how to
- do fast and flashy graphics don't have the experience to
- handle more than a few dangling pointers at a time, nor do
- they want to delve into the innermost of slots, interrupts,
- GWorlds and pallettes for 3-4 weeks full time.
-
- Not to put anyone down, but the Mac is more geared towards
- interactive office applications than action games.

- Uh? 4 channels sampled sound is "standard" on the Mac, and the
- Amiga has no more. Not to mention that the sound formats for the
- Mac are more flexible than either SoundBlaster or Amiga.
-
- And about ease of installation, development and support, you've
- got to be kidding. I do all three (Mac, Windows and UNIX) and
- definately know what machine I'd choose for anyone whose time
- is worth more than $50/hr...
-
