- I finished this level just last night, but I didn't use any blockers
- and I didn't need to turn anybody around "manually." Here's what I
- did:
-
- Make the first lemming a vertical digger. The second lemming isn't
- trapped, because the hole's not deep enough. Make this lead lemming a
- builder and a parachutist. All the following lemmings get trapped in
- the hole with the digger.
-
- Let the leader turn around at the next obstacle. When he gets back
- toward the pillar where the others are gathering in a hole, build a
- stairway up to the side of the pillar. Stop the digger by making him a
- builder. The top of the stairway should be about as high as the bottom
- of the hole, but don't let the lemmings out yet.
-
- The leader goes right again. Dig through the next pillar. He goes up
- the slope to where a pillar passes through it. Dig horizontally. As
- soon as he starts to walk again, build up toward the ceiling. When he
- meets the icicles, tunnel through them horizontally. Be careful not to
- leave a gap at the end of the stairs, or he's a dead lemming. If he's
- high enough, he'll barely make the base of the next slope when he
- parachutes out the end of the tunnel.
-
- Tunnel through the snowman, build over the gap, build over the exit,
- and bounce off the end of the scene. Build over the exit, build over
- the gap, and keep building right up to the end of the overhang.
-
- From the top of the overhang, build up to icicles. It's OK to aim a
- little low, because you want the lead lemming to turn back for the
- exit.
-
- Remember the 79 other lemmings swarming in the pit? Turn one into a
- horizontal digger to release them. Meanwhile, the leader turns toward
- the exit. He'll need to dig through the stairs he built over the exit
- before.
-
- Once you've done all this, RUN LIKE HELL! I finished the level with
- only a couple of seconds to spare.
