  13. I wandered into my local Babbages last night, and found a CD-ROM called
  14. "The Future is NOW!"  It's a $4.95 demo disk, with about 12 games for the
  15. PC and maybe 6 for the Mac (games and multimedia presentations).  Haven't
  16. played with the PC ones yet, but the Mac side includes "Sherlock Holmes,
  17. Consulting Detective II" (?- graphics on the box look like the first and
  18. only to me), Goferwinkel's Adventures (a kid's game), "Twelve Roads to
  19. Gettysburg" (civil war history), "Total Distortion" (a really wild game
  20. where you need to travel to an alternate dimension to make... rock
  21. videos.), and "Iron Helix" (which I hear is awesome but I haven't tried
  22. yet).  And I think there's more.  For five bucks, including a $5 check off
  23. buying one of the titles, it's well worth it.  The caveat- it's located in
  24. the PC section only, so you won't find it with the other Mac titles.
