- I wandered into my local Babbages last night, and found a CD-ROM called
- "The Future is NOW!" It's a $4.95 demo disk, with about 12 games for the
- PC and maybe 6 for the Mac (games and multimedia presentations). Haven't
- played with the PC ones yet, but the Mac side includes "Sherlock Holmes,
- Consulting Detective II" (?- graphics on the box look like the first and
- only to me), Goferwinkel's Adventures (a kid's game), "Twelve Roads to
- Gettysburg" (civil war history), "Total Distortion" (a really wild game
- where you need to travel to an alternate dimension to make... rock
- videos.), and "Iron Helix" (which I hear is awesome but I haven't tried
- yet). And I think there's more. For five bucks, including a $5 check off
- buying one of the titles, it's well worth it. The caveat- it's located in
- the PC section only, so you won't find it with the other Mac titles.
