- Make the first lemming a builder right on the edge of the first pole.
- The other one needs to be made into a vertical digger as soon as he
- touches the ground--if he starts digging and doesn't leave some pillar
- on _both_ sides of him, nuke the level and try again. Go back to the
- building lemming and make him a climber as well, then stop the digger
- by making him a builder (don't do this to soon, you want him to stay
- in the hole). If you started the builder close enough to the edge he will
- drop onto the second pole when he completes his stairs; as soon as he
- passes the peak of that pole, start him building again--the distance to
- the next pole is exactly twelve stairs. He finishes the stairs and climbs
- up the third pole; as soon as he crosses the peak of this pole make him
- a vertical digger. This time you don't want any pillar left to the right
- of your digger--if he's digging right down the center, nuke it and start
- over. Dig down far enough that a staircase will collide with the fourth
- pole (you just have to guage it by sight) and start the digger building
- across--this time it's two staircases to the next pillar). Your lemming will
- probrably hit the next pillar and turn around--don't worry; he'll climb
- up the side of the pillar you just dug out but he'll reach a lip at the
- top that will drop him back down to the stairs. He'll climb the fourth
- pillar and again you'll make him a vertical digger. Let him dig down to
- just below the top of the next pillar, which is less than a staircase
- away, and make him a builder again. He should drop onto the top of the
- pillar (if he hits the side of it, you lose again); make him a builder
- and forget about him; he's safe. Now go back to the one in the pit, and
- make him an athlete (climber+parachutist); make sure he's headed to the
- right when you make him a climber or he'll climb the wrong side of the
- pit and you're looking at some major frustration as he plummets into the
- morass and you start over yet again. Once he's out of the pit and on his
- way, that's it! You've saved lemmingkind once again.

- A note of caution: This level will make you go insane very quickly.
- Making the second lemming a digger at precisely the right time is
- something I can accomplish like one time in ten; then there's like
- a million other things that can go wrong timingwise before you get
- through it all. You need to click that second lemming a split second
- before his cursed little lemming feet actually touch the ground or
- you are screwed. Even once I figured out how to get through the level,
- I had to try about 50 times before I managed to finish it. Hell, it's
- taken me a good half hour just to explain it.
