- I finally got around to installing and testing the Zoom VFX in FAX mode.
- It came with STF s/w, and like it was with data mode, it "worked right
- out of the box". In fact, IMHO, this software is better than the "Maxfax"
- that is shipped with the Prometheus Ultima Home Office. My search for
- the "best, cheapest 14.4" ended with the Zoom. Good luck in *your* quest!

- To the acolytes, this modem performs flawlessly with ARA, datacom
- programs, and FAX. Before you blame the modem, make sure you under-
- stand the system setup, 'specially 7.
