- You can put an Ethernet card in your Mac, but that will only give you
- physical connectivity to your Ethernet network.
-
- You don't convert between AppleTalk and Ethernet. Ethernet only
- describes cable, and AppleTalk is the protocol that Macs speak. You
- need to convert between AppleTalk and IPX, which is the protocol that
- Novell servers speak.
-
- Novell makes a product called "Netware for Macintosh" that is a NLM
- that you load on your 3.11 server and some software that you load on
- your Mac. That will give your Mac connectivity to the server.
-
- Dayna also makes a similar product, but I don't know much about it.
-
- I hope that this helps.
