- I'm trying to get a SLIP connection working between my A/UX system at home
- and a SLIP server at my local university (over the modem, of course). The
- problem is that the server dynamically assigns the port address upon
- dial-up, so my A/UX system would need to suck that address into the
- configuration files upon every connection.
-
- Does anyone have any experience with this? If not, does anyone know if I
- can use the program MacSlip to establish the connection and somehow transfer
- it over to A/UX's control..?
-
- Thanks,
- Dieder Bylsma
