- Dear NetFolk:
-
- I am trying to pull a TeachText file from my Mac (IIsi) to my Sun machine, but
- Telnet (2.5) /Fetch (2.0.6) are behaving strangely:
-
- 0) The connection starts, takes an inordinately long time, like a
- minute or more, then gets the error message "netin: Connection reset by
- peer." An "!ls" reveals that the transferred file has zero length on
- the Sun.
-
- 1) Fetch's error message is "Error: you have exceeded your storage
- allocation on the host.", which I do not believe.
-
- 2) Deleting, renaming files, listing directories from the Mac and from
- the Sun, transferring megabyte files from Sun to Mac -- all work fine.
- It's just Mac->Sun I have the problem. ASCII, Binary, MacBinary -- all
- the same.
-
- 3) It occurs whether I use LocalTalk Built-In via a GatorBox or
- EtherTalk 1.2 (can't use phase 2 for other reasons) direct on the same
- LAN.
-
- Any suggestion how to transfer files to the Sun?
