  14. I've been using VersaTerm Admin SLIP with my Zoom 14.4 v.32bis modem for
  15. about 6 months now and I haven't had any problems.  Yes, the modem sometimes
  16. sits idle (no send/receive activity) during FTP sessions for several
  17. seconds, but the transfers are usually successful.  They do take longer
  18. than other protocols, but that is teh nature of SLIP.

  20. I did have a few problems earlier, but settint MTU to 1006 and the retry
  21. delay to "none" solved most of my problems.
