- I've been using VersaTerm Admin SLIP with my Zoom 14.4 v.32bis modem for
- about 6 months now and I haven't had any problems. Yes, the modem sometimes
- sits idle (no send/receive activity) during FTP sessions for several
- seconds, but the transfers are usually successful. They do take longer
- than other protocols, but that is teh nature of SLIP.
-
- I did have a few problems earlier, but settint MTU to 1006 and the retry
- delay to "none" solved most of my problems.
