  28. System 6.x does not include software to be a network server though it does
  29. include system software to be a client.

  31. There is an add-on called "DataClub" that can be used to give both 6.x and
  32. 7.0 network server capabilities.  All Macs with Dataclub installed become
  33. one virtual server - i.e., the disk space for all Macs on the network is
  34. "added" together to make one big virtual server that any Mac on the network
  35. can log into and all Macs share network tasks.

  37. Thats the good news: the bad news is that DataClub was bought out by Novell
  38. (big corporate PC based network file/print/DBMS servers).  I do not know if
  39. Dataclub is still available.  I haven't seen it advertised for awhile.  I
  40. can't find the disks/documentation to give you a phone number.  I receive
  41. the software as a freebie promotional things when they went to version 2.0.
