  16. I working on a colour figure for an annual report and I am using Freehand 3.0
  17. for the work.  I am importing images from three different sources: a colour
  18. gif image converted to eps and imported to Freehand, a PICT plot from Igor
  19. (B/W) and a colour raster image from Spyglass Format, imported using copy
  20. & paste.

  22. When I print this combination to Postscript laser printer, the eps image is
  23. printed in colour, but the imported Spyglass Format image is printed as
  24. greyscale, although it shows in colour on the screen.

  26. I have tried to bring this Format image to Freehand with multiple methods:
  27. 1. copy in Format, paste to Freehand
  28. 2. save as PICT2 in Format, import/place in Freehand
  29. 3. copy canvas in Format, paste to Freehand
  30.  
  31. Only method 3 works properly, in method 2 the image does not even show up
  32. in Freehand.
  33.  
  34. Does anyone out there have any ideas, how to get the Format image to print
  35. in colour?  Is there some setting in the Freehand that I am omitting?
  36. Is there perhaps a PICT2-> eps converter available someplace that I could
  37. use, since the eps imported image prints just fine?
