- I am looking for recommendations for a graphing program with GOOD
- real-time manipulation capabilities. Specifically I need an
- application to rapidly plot data generated in a meeting/seminar
- environment, and then quickly access and zoom in on areas of interest,
- or information regarding data points.
-
- Most graph programs I have seen are very awkward when it comes
- to manipulating graphs and charts in front of meetings. For example
- a plot can be generated rather quickly using Excel, but to zoom in on
- one particular area, both scales must be altered through a series of
- dialog boxes, and there is no straightforward way to select a data
- point and access it label, or location on the chart. A nice interactive
- way to do these would be with some kind of "select" tool which grabs an
- area of the chart and immediately zooms in on that area alone.
-
- I'm not sure that an application exists with the qualities I'm
- looking for, but any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
- Thanks.
