  12.     I am looking for recommendations for a graphing program with GOOD
  13. real-time manipulation capabilities.  Specifically I need an 
  14. application to rapidly plot data generated in a meeting/seminar 
  15. environment, and then quickly access and zoom in on areas of interest,
  16. or information regarding data points.

  18.     Most graph programs I have seen are very awkward when it comes
  19. to manipulating graphs and charts in front of meetings.  For example
  20. a plot can be generated rather quickly using Excel, but to zoom in on
  21. one particular area, both scales must be altered through a series of
  22. dialog boxes, and there is no straightforward way to select a data
  23. point and access it label, or location on the chart.  A nice interactive
  24. way to do these would be with some kind of "select" tool which grabs an
  25. area of the chart and immediately zooms in on that area alone.

  27.     I'm not sure that an application exists with the qualities I'm 
  28. looking for, but any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
