  15. This question has been asked numerous times I believe, but I have never seen an
  16. answer to date.  I am in need of something to solve my problem and would
  17. greatly appreciate any info and a point in any direction.

  19. I run an unsupervised Macintosh computer lab, with a AppleShare server and the
  20. AppleShare Print Server.  As it is unsupervised, it's become a place where
  21. everyone and anyone they know comes to type up papers and print of hundreds of
  22. copies free.  While it's not a big deal to me who works on the computers, it is
  23. a problem of who is printing and how much they ARE printing.

  25. Thus, I am in need of some program that will provide some control in this
  26. situation.  What would be perfect would be something where I can set a maximum
  27. number of pages for each AppleShare user name (variable by my choice) and the
  28. Print Server uses that information to decide whether or not to let the person
  29. print or not.  I don't care if it notifies the user or not.. just if it let's
  30. ther person print or not.

  32. As it is now, I have no control whatsoever.  Does anyone know of anything that
  33. will work in tandem with AppleShare, or that will replace the Print Server for
  34. that matter?  Anything would be appreciated..
