  13. As several folks pointed out here and in private messages, the answer
  14. lies in having the same image size. I thought they were the same, since
  15. I could overlay one image on the other, but I guess I must have been
  16. off by a pixel or two. I finally managed to get things to work by
  17. placing a frame (transparent rectangle) around each object (using
  18. Canvas). There are, of course, other ways to do this.
