- I'm using ClarisWorks on a Powerbook 100. I've been working in a text
- document and needed to add a graphic as well as a chart into the text.
- Since the text is going to be quite long I thought it made sense to just
- be in text mode and and the other stuff in, rather than work as in the graphics
- environment with text frames.
-
- I used a spreadsheet frame to generate a chart. I had the chart on top of the
- spreadsheet and grouped the two. So far --fine. I made the other graphic by
- drawing the various objects and grouping them. The problem is that I can't
- figure out how to make the text flow around them as I write. I thought that
- each graphic would be treated as a single character line but the text just
- seems to type right through it. I'm sure there's a very simple solution here
- but I sure can't find it in the manual. Any ideas anyone?
-
- Also, a question re footnotes. Clarisworks always puts them at the bottom of
- the page. It turns out that I have to use a standard scientific style for
- this project which puts the note right in the text itself. Does anyone know
- if this is possible? It looks as if it's not but you never know!
-
- Thanks,
- Steve,
