  38. Well, if I understand your question, it is possible to reconfigure
  39. Word so that the default tab spacing is .75" instead of 0.5". From the
  40. Format menu select the Document dialog box. In the lower right hand of
  41. that dialog box is a box where you can set the default tab stops
  42. spacing. Instead of 0.5 enter 0.75. As a result the tabs will be set
  43. at 0.75", 1.5", 2.25", etc., from the left margin. If this is how you
  44. want all your Word documents to be set up, click the "Use As Default"
  45. button. Then every new Word document will have the tabs set to these
  46. settings.
