  11. I am trying to get the company I work for to convert to an All-Mac network
  12. The primary stumbling block to this conversion is finding a Mac-based payroll
  13. program.  Hopefully this payroll appl. will either be compatible with an 
  14. accounting program of include one.

  16. FYI, a  temporary Employment agency's payroll procedures are as follows, and  
  17. whatever program we find needs to work with this  scenario.

  19. The players:
  20.  1) Employees: they get sent on assignments (with different skill levels)
  21. 2) Clients: They request employees  and we bill them (our accounts receivable)
  22. 3)  Admin: we run the whole shebang
  23.  
  24. The scenario:
  25.   A client calls the admin and asks to have a position filled.  We
  26. determine which employee fits the bill and fill out a job order (step one  
  27. in accounts receivable).  The employee goes to the job.  Tracks their work
  28. hours on a Timesheet and sends the Timesheet back to  the admin.  The
  29. admin works off the Job order and the timesheet to produce paychecks for
  30. the employees and bills for the client.
