- I just bought a copy of Omnipage Pro (optical character recognition) for my
- MacII (8mB). It immediately crashes with an 'unimplemented trap' message.
- The manual says the cure for this 'feature' is to turn on virtual memory
- in the Memory CDEV, which any MacII user will immediately know is not there.
-
- I remember Connectix released a free doodad a year or so ago to Apple that
- provided, as I recall, software-supported virtual memory on MacIIs. Apple
- released the software for free.
-
- I'm virtually certain I saved the software on an archive, but cannot for the
- life of me remember the name. Can you provide the name or recommend a site
- I can download a copy from?
