- Hi,
-
- Seems i got a hungry bug eating up my memory...Okay. let's
- be serious for a moment. I've got Illustrator 3.2 installed on my
- little Mac machine ( LC-7.0.1*-4/80). System/Finder itself takes up
- about 1300M, the screen saver, what's its name again ? can't remember -
- Dark**something- v3.0 needs only 64K. This leaves about 2.6M for Illustrator
- to run. Well,no problems so far, it lanches and takes 2M... While moving
- around playing-clicking dialog boxes aren't always properly displayed ...
- Shortage of memory, i think...and in the 'About this humble macintosh'
- i notice that 'ZeroK/M'is free ...Despite having a mac, i am still capable
- of doing mathematics myself...more than 600K is missing. Total of memory adds
- up to 3.4M, i had 4M installed!! Quiting the application does not change a
- thing, only rebooting frees the memory... This is bit too peculiar to me and
- actually it does not explain why Illustrator, having enough memory to run - the
- 2M it asked for, should act as if lacked the proper space ....
