- A friend of mine is leaving in 1.5 days for Jamaica, and he would dearly love
- to bring his computer along- it is a Tandon 386SX notebook (exact model #
- unknown). The question is, will the lower cycles rate of household
- current in Jamaica (I think it is btwn 50-55 cycles, as opposed to 60 here
- in the US) blow his machine? Anyone know tolerances for laptop critters?
- One would think that they have a fairly wide range, given that they're
- MEANT to travel, but I just couldn't answer his question. TIA!
