  13. I have an OPTi-based motherboard in my 486-DX33 (mini board; 
  14. no external cache; but I can't read the support chip IDs without
  15. dismantling the whole thing) and *absolutely* no problems with the GUS
  16. board
  17. compatibility at all - don't even need switches on SBOS for most of
  18. my games etc.

  20. It screws up my dark-ages SCSI controller if I run SETUP tho' - unless I
  21. run SBOS or PLAYMIDI or FLIDEMO first...?  And, I haven;t sorted out
  22. the windows midi player yet.  But, generally - A-OK.

  24. Does anyone know if the GUS should be able to achieve LAPC
  25. compatibility?
  26. The MPU401 features appear to be OK, so is there more to this than meets
  27. the eye?
