  15. This is because AIX for the IBM RT is officially dead, as of June 1990
  16. (or perhaps '91, my memory fails me at the moment).  There is some
  17. suport to be had at a local level (and it is minimal and sporadic), but
  18. the folks in Texas only grok the RS/6000 these days.  I believe that
  19. hardware maintenance dries up and blows away by '95 or '96.

  21. Regardless, we won't give up our RT.  After all, it helps keep the office
  22. warm, and provides a nice white-noise effect. :-)
