  13. A place called "Cost Plus" is advertising (comp. shopper, Jan 93, p.296) a
  14. Mitsumi CD-ROM drive (internal = $169, external = $239).

  16. Now it seems that there are 2 types of drives; 150k/sec and 300k/sec
  17. transfer speeds, and various different average access times.  This
  18. mitsumi drive is a 150k/sec drive, and is probably slow (access).
  19. Apart from giving jerky animation, is there anything these slow drives
  20. can't do or can't read (compared to the 300k/sec drives)?
