- A place called "Cost Plus" is advertising (comp. shopper, Jan 93, p.296) a
- Mitsumi CD-ROM drive (internal = $169, external = $239).
-
- Now it seems that there are 2 types of drives; 150k/sec and 300k/sec
- transfer speeds, and various different average access times. This
- mitsumi drive is a 150k/sec drive, and is probably slow (access).
- Apart from giving jerky animation, is there anything these slow drives
- can't do or can't read (compared to the 300k/sec drives)?
-
- Has anyone bought this mitsumi drive? Any comments?
