- Someone mentioned that the Colorado 250 mb tape backup
- was really a 125mb tape system with compression software
- and CMS hoped to get 2:1 compression. Is this for real??
- If so, why can't I buy a CMS 125mb drive and use Norton
- Backup to get the same thing. I already own Norton BU,
- so why pay the extra bucks for a large capacity drive. Or
- does the drive actually store more data on the tape.
- A different tape, possibly longer, and if so, why not use
- the longer tape in the 125mb drive?? Just exactly what
- is the differences between the two systems.
-
- Thanks in advance.
