  11. I used to run a WD 170 meg IDE drive ( I forget the number).  It used to
  12. make a soft clicking sound every now and then.  It was much nicer than
  13. what I'm running now (a ST277R which enters annoying whining mode much
  14. too often).

  16. I'm thinking about getting another WD IDE drive ( the 200 megger).
  17. Can someone compare the noise level between the WD 170meg and the 200meg.
