  16. Just want to thank everyone again that has helped me out with recommenda-
  17. tions on buying a new system.  Response has been great!

  19. Another question, though.  I notice that ads for most systems 
  20. say they have 2 serial ports, two parallel ports and one game port, right?
  21.  
  22. Then why do Gateway system ads say that that they only have 1 parallel and
  23. 2 serial ports?  Are Gateway systems "port poor" or something?  What's
  24. the story? (Serial ports are for printers and external modems, right?  Game
  25. ports are for joysticks, etc, and what are parallel ports for??)
