- I have a SOTA expres 386 upgrade
- It replaces the 286 chip with a ribbon cable and a
- pc board containing a 386sx.
- A software driver needs to be installed ,it says it will
- run in enhanced mode (don't know === not enough memory)
-
- After running norton before and after
- (286 =12X and Sota=15X, the big difference is due to
- the onboard 16k cache) i dont think it is worth it..
-
-
- I think you should get either a 386DX, 486SX or 486DX.
- The price difference between the 386sx and dx is small.

- just my $.02
