- Hi, I'm not sure this is the best place to ask this, but I can find nothing
- else appropriate to post to.
-
- As many of you know, IBM's standard keyboard is very rough on hands and is
- prone to cause RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) from much usage. Using the
- keyboard causes me much pain, but using most any other keyboard (such as a
- Mac keyboard) bothers me little or none at all. I have to use this computer
- (and its hideous keyboard) because its my job and they want the software
- written on this particular platform.
-
- I have two questions:
- (1) Is the IBM RS/6000 keyboard exactly the same as the IBM PC keyboard? (ie
- can they be swapped with no trouble at all?)
- (2) What wrist-friendly keyboards can be used as fully functional replacements
- for the dreaded IBM keyboard? Where can I get these keyboards?
-
- Please e-mail responses to me, as I don't normally read this group. And if
- there happens to be a better group to ask this question, thank you to whoever
- lets me know what that group is.
