  11. The magnetic field generated by that motor isn't *anywhere* near that powerful. If
  12. it was that strong, it would certainly affect your hardisk. It looks like your
  13. power supply isn't up to snuff or it's too small. When the motor turns on, it
  14. sucks a bunch of start up current that may be causing the screen jitter.  Perhaps
  15. the steady-state on current is causing it, too.
