  13. UPSs) seems a bit sensationalist to me, especialy the bit about the TV
  14. station.  Boy, I bet he was disapointed when his carefully contrived
  15. setup didn't actually go up in flames for the TV cameras!

  17. We have a number of the Tripplite BC series ( 500s and 750s ) as well
  18. as one 2000 watt of another Tripplite series. We've had trouble with
  19. the 2000 (and it just came back from being repaired by Tripplite with
  20. a note saying not to test it by pulling the plug ;-}), but none with
  21. the BC series. Perhaps Jim Duncan's problem is a manufacturing flaw
  22. with a particular batch?  Anyway, I find his post inflamatory ;-} and
  23. of questionable merit.
