- Hi,
-
- I posted before about my monitor dying. I traced the fault to
- a dead transistor in the high voltage circuit. It is a power
- transistor, most likely the one that controls the horizontal
- deflection. It only has C3883 written on it. It has been
- suggested to me that it is a 2SC3883, but the shop I went
- to could not find it.
- My question is, do you know the specs of this transistor and
- even more to the point, a replacement type that is more easy
- to find.
-
- I know this might not be the best group to post to, but
- here it is all the same.
-
- Thanks
- Erik
