  14. I posted before about my monitor dying. I traced the fault to
  15. a dead transistor in the high voltage circuit. It is a power
  16. transistor, most likely the one that controls the horizontal
  17. deflection. It only has C3883 written on it. It has been
  18. suggested to me that it is a 2SC3883, but the shop I went
  19. to could not find it.
  20. My question is, do you know the specs of this transistor and
  21. even more to the point, a replacement type that is more easy
  22. to find.
