- This tactic actually does work, although perhaps not as often as you
- might like. The large number of posts in *.advocacy groups suggests
- that there is some sort of need for people to talk about the subject,
- and I for one would rather they talk about it there than here.

- Actually a very good tactic is to post a scathing rebuttal to a post on
- the subject, and be sure to insert a Followup-To: header into the
- message so that the followups which are sure to follow will be directed
- to the proper place, away from the useful discussion.
