- I recently acquired a Compudyne 9600 bps V.32 modem. I seem to be having
- problems getting it to work properly. I have properly set the IRQ and
- COMM port (com1, irq 4).
-
- However, whenever I try to connect to another modem, at any speed, a
- few characters or a few lines will print and then the modem will freeze
- up and not accept any other commands... unless the computer is reset
- and the comm program is re-entered.
-
- Factory settings on the modem are being used. (at&f)... so I don't see
- any reason for the strange behaviour...
-
- any help would be appreciated....
