  26. This game has been out for about two weeks now.  I gamma tested it
  27. and posted a long preview about a month ago.  SVGA AW has an incredibly
  28. smooth H2H mode that runs at 2400 baud.  Planes include WW1, WW2, and 
  29. Korean War vintage aircraft, realistic flight characteristics, and runs
  30. in 640x480 256 color mode.  There are four off-line drones to practice
  31. against, and if you have an account on GEnie, you can get technical
  32. support from the programmers through a bulletin board included in GEnie's
  33. $4.95/month charge for basic services.

  35. The game is also the "front end" program for the multi-player game Air 
  36. Warrior on GEnie, which unfortunately costs $6/hour to play, runs at
  37. only half real time (H2H and offline practice can run full time or 1/2
  38. time), but lets you fly against up to 50 players at the same time. The 
  39. game includes a $50 credit on GEnie.  Most stores that carry the game 
  40. will sell it for about $40, so you'll get an excellent flight sim and 
  41. cover your expenses at the very least.   The GEnie credit can be applied
  42. to your balance without restriction (you don't have to use it on Air 
  43. Warrior), but it will pay for about 8 hours online in the AW arena.
  44. Alternatively, you could apply the credit toward the cost of enrollment
  45. in the Air Warrior Training Academy (AWTA), which consists of structured
  46. training sessions in the art and science of multiplayer Air Warrior,
  47. and free access to the AWTA training area, all for a very low price.
