- I tried to email you directly from the UNIX email .com network,
- but all address paths bounced. I just wanted to acknowledge the
- work that went into wolf3d. I'm a computer engineer at NCR
- working on a massively parallel database engine project in San
- Diego. When I look at wolf3d I'm always impressed with the
- arithmetic that was used to get the aspects and positions and
- still manage to keep the code to under 3M. Since you can save
- the game, then I know that you've encoded the position and
- orientation to a clever coordinate system. I think wolf3d would
- be tougher to write than some of the simulations. Anyway, I
- just wanted to say that you have my respect.
