- Hi Connie & Bob,
-
- You know, this Dagger game has ups and downs. Sometimes it's annoying and
- sometimes its interesting. There's another posting near Bob's complaining
- that the game allows you to begin a new act, without having found all major
- important objects/facts from the previous act, therefore being impossible to
- complete the game successfuly. I second that opinion. In the sixth (and final)
- act you'll see what I mean, just wait (and pass the fifth !).
-
- Now, I could have spent a couple of hours preparing this posting, to make
- sure the spoilers aren't too obvious, but I'll give you what I'd like to be
- given: strait tips, so you wont have to say "I wonder what this guy is talking
- about ...". Besides, by the time you both read this, I'll bet you'll have it
- all solved already, so, here go the tips:
-
- ACT 5 SUMMARY:
-
- 1. Run east to the room where you found Ziggy dead (yeah, it's Ziggy,
- and his head is hanging on the wall of the masks exhibit room, in
- case you didn't find it).
- 2. Use hand on door to close it (begining of a series of actions to
- delay the mysterious killer).
- 3. Use the wire (the one you get in the insigth of Ziggy's dead body,
- try the wire cutter (the one you get from Eddie's office, in the tool
- box) on the wires hanging in the west part of the insight) on the
- door you just closed, to tie it close (delay 2)
- 4. Run west to the ancient weapons room, use hand to close another door
- behind you (delay 3), and another hand to close the lock (delay 4)
- 5. Run north (to the corridor where is the door you never could open
- before, you won't open it now either). Find the chair, use hand on
- it, then climb on it, use hand on the opening at the top of the door,
- just to open it (this will fool the killer, he will think that you
- entered this room)
- 6. Run north, then west, to the mummy's room. Use hand in the mummy case
- in the middle, it'll open and you'll hide in there, while the murderer
- cames in the room and then goes away. You'll hear him breaking the
- door of the mysterious room. Go back, enter the room and ...
-
- I don't want to take all the fun out of the game. Try those steps and
- you'll be able to proceed !
-
- Good Luck !
