  12. Run into a problem when trying to play Sherlock Holmes.
  13.  
  14. 1) Getting clipped digital speech.  I'm using a Sound Blaster Pro with
  15. standard IRQ settings and the DMA setting in emm386 or 386MAX has been changed
  16. to 40.
  17.  
  18. 2) After playing the game *ONCE* it now crashes after the intro credits roll on
  19. the screen with the following error.  I have tried using emm386.exe and 386MAX
  20. memory drivers.  Both come up with the same error at the same spot.  I am also
  21. using a smartdrv cache.

  36. Has anyone else ever run into these problems? Does anyone have any solutions?
  37. My wife is relatively angry at having a new X-Mas toy and not being able to use
