- There is a list that is floating around showing
- what the different settings of sbos to use
- with different games. The list
- gives the impression that sbos supports most or all
- of these games perfectly well. However, I have been
- having trouble with the sbos and digital audio.
-
- First, the digital audio portion does not work correctly in
- Front Page Sports Football while playing on the field.
- During the introduction, the digital audio sounds
- great but during play it repeats itself (e.g., "f-f-f-first down").
- I talked to Dynamix about the problem and they
- said that they had been receiving a lot of calls
- concerning the GUS and because of this they planned
- to make an upgrade so that sbos would work or
- write a driver for native GUS support.
- You can get the sound to work in the adlib mode
- but it sounds horrible and the graphics stop
- every time they are emitted.
-
- Second, the digital audio does not work in Siege even
- with the -x3 option. I get the message
- on load up that the digital audio failed to load.
- (This wouldn't be a memory problem with the GUS would it?).
- Once again, you can get the adlib mode to work fine.
-
- I hope this isn't a problem with my computer only.
- The digital audio worked fine in the introductions
- of Ulitma Underworld and FPS Football. Anyone
- got any of these games to work okay?
