  14. Hi, All.  Well, it's obviously coming down to the wire for Christmas
  15. shopping and I STILL haven't gotten a game for my brother.  We have quite
  16. different tastes: I enjoy adventure games while he's more into
  17. war-simulation games.  So what do you get a guy like that?

  19. Here's what he's REALLY liked recently.  
  20. - Civilization, one of his favorites
  21. - Empire, tied with Civ. for his favorite game.
  22. - Powermonger, which was OK, but not as good as the others.
  23.  
  24. Here's what I've considered buying, based on the back-of-box summaries at
  25. Babbages and Egghead:
  26. - Harpoon: yeah, the deluxe package is a lot of money - will he like it?
  27. - Command HQ: looks like an older EGA game, but was recommended by the
  28.   Babbages guy.

  30. That's about it actually. {If YOU, with your amazing wisdom, can recommend
  31. a good game based on the fact that my brother REALLY liked Civ. and
  32. Empire, please let me know!  Also, please e-mail if possible - digging
  33. through several hundred messages a day here isn't easy.  Thanks, All!
