  16. I installed MIT's X11R5 some months ago. Everything went smoothly except
  17. for the contrib code for "xconsole". It compiles fine but does not work
  18. as advertised. When it comes up it responds with a "Couldn't open
  19. console message". The annoyance arises when I try and bring up an X
  20. client that may have to send some output to the console. My X session
  21. hangs and I must <shft><cntrl><break> to get back to the HP screen and
  22. then restart my X server.
